President: Marie Beikmanis (Marie’s Favourite Things)

Marie has held the role of our President for the past 5 years. Recently opening an online business, Marie’s Favourite Things following 7 successful years as owner of Lush Flowers & Gifts, Marie was named Kiama Local Woman of the Year in 2017.  

Marie is a strong advocate for local businesses in Kiama and surrounds and is passionate about promoting and growing the Kiama & District Business Chamber into the future.

Vice President: Cameron McDonald (Carter Ferguson Solicitors)

Cameron is a Senior Solicitor at Carter Ferguson Solicitors specialising in property, planning and environment and commercial law. 

Cameron moved back to the area in early 2017 and has been on the KDBC board since Aug 2017. Cameron is passionate about supporting small business.

Treasurer: Greg Langford (Integrity Connect)

Greg may be recognisable from his past role as the Business and Banking Manager at the National Australia Bank in Kiama. After establishing himself throughout the Kiama community, he then started attending the Chamber meetings and involving himself in networking events. Not too long after that, he was a Board Member.

Greg joined the board to “better understand what is happening in local business and also to be able to have some input into things happening in the local community to support local business”.

Greg recently started his own business, Integrity Connect, which offers independent and unbiased conversations about banking, finance and all things money. 

Secretary: Gavin McClure (Kiama Transport)

Gavin’s is a face you would definitely recognize. Not only is he the Owner and Manager of Kiama Mini Coach Charters and a former Councillor at Kiama Counci, Gavin has been a director on the board of the Kiama and District Business Chamber since 2009.

For Gavin, being part of the Chamber offers more than just mentoring and assisting other businesses. On top of that, the Chamber gives him “a sense of being part of a united group and part of something bigger. Networking and training is one of the most important things that the Chamber does”.

Director: Kay McNiven – Hindmarsh Park Cottage / Kiama Cabs

Kay has lived in Kiama since 1993 and is the local business owner of Kiama Cabs and Hindmarsh Park Cottage. Kay has served as a director on the board of Kiama Tourism for many years as well as our KDBC Board.

Kay is extremely proud to be associated with the Business Chamber and to have been involved with the progression and success of the Chamber to where it is today. 

Director: Margot Griffiths – GMK Consulting

Margot is an operations expert & HR/recruitment professional and has worked with numerous national & global clients across multiple sectors. Margot previously worked with The Illawarra Business Chamber forging strong business relationships throughout the region. 

Director: Steve Warwick – RMB Lawyers 

Steve is a partner at RMB Lawyers and is heavily involved in community projects throughout the Illawarra.

As a partner, Steve also encourages his professional staff to becoming actively involved in local community groups and “give back” to the community and joining the Chamber was a way to do this.

“I think it develops a sense of camaraderie amongst Local Businesses and embarks upon both marketing (promotional) and support scheme for Business Groups that may not be able to organise/support them on their own”. 

Director: Amanda Smith – People Purpose Solutions

An experienced People and Change practitioner, Amanda is able to balance the needs of the future with today’s challenges. Authentic in approach; she is passionate about simplifying the complex; helping people find meaning in their work and partnering with leaders to make the most of the strengths in their team.
