Description

Rodney & Ann Garard have been operating Kiama Charter Service since 1995. “Kostalota” is 12 metres or 40 feet long with plenty of deck room for fishing. She is licensed by NSW Fisheries and in full maritime survey for passengers. Leaving from Kiama Harbour at 6am, the boat is out on the ocean almost immediately and there are reefs quite close by & others further afield.

There is no need to have a personal fishing licence as we have one that covers all aboard. All the fishing tackle and quality bait is provided, as well as tuition if required. Ann’s famous Anzac biscuits are included with morning tea.

Reef fishing charters go out to fish for snapper, morwong, ocean leatherjackets, flathead and other bottom dwelling table species. Trips may go as far as 15km to sea where it can be up to 140 metres deep. The area fished depends on the weather conditions, where the fish have been biting and capability of the anglers.

Charters are available 7 days a week, all year round, (except Christmas Day & New Years Day), weather & minimum numbers permitting. Individuals and small groups can sometimes join with others to make a viable charter.

Bookings, with a minimum 50% payment to confirm, are vital to ensure you get aboard a charter. Check our website which has plenty of information, directions and an availability calendar. Ring soon to make a booking for your fishing trip
